Coniston Lake District Cottage

Puddleduck House is a spacious three bedroom house within a few steps of the picture postcard village of Coniston and the simply stunning lake and mountain scenery. Situated right in the heart of the village, you only need to walk to the end of the street to get to all the pubs, shops and cafes that Coniston has to offer. An 8 - 10 minute walk takes you to the lake, Coniston Water! 

 

Inside the House

In the large, airy lounge, there is a sensational fireplace and log-burner and comfy leather seating with wall-mounted Smart TV.  In the spacious dining room there is easy seating for 6 people, whilst the country kitchen boasts a dishwasher, washing machine (tumble dryer in garage), fridge-freezer (with another fridge/freezer in the garage), oven, microwave, slow cooker, and plenty of kitchen equipment.  Also on the ground floor is a downstairs WC and a door to the back yard.

 

First Floor

Here there is a large family room with twin beds and another bedroom has a double bed with en-suite shower room and WC.

 

Top Floor

On the top floor there is a master bedroom with lovely views across fields and the Coniston mountain range and features a stylish kingsize bed. On this floor there is also the main family bathroom with gorgeous roll top bath, fully tiled shower cubicle and WC.

Note: the stairs in the property are relatively steep so may be a bit more challenging for the very elderly or those with very restricted mobility. There is a bannister to one side of the stairs all the way up. Flexiguards are provided for the stairs so you can use them for children and dogs.

Outside

To the rear of the property there is a back yard with a bistro set, a large garage with parking for 1 medium sized car and a separate garden with picnic bench, BBQ area and simply stunning views of Coniston Old Man!

The property comes with super-fast fibre WiFi.
